Karin Cox
Karin Cox is an editor, published author and poet residing in a leafy suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Having spent more than a decade as a professional editor, enhancing other people's books, over the past three years she has become a prolific writer in her own right, publishing more than 28 titles across a range of genres, from natural history, travel guides and fact books to children's storybooks and biographies. She also has extensive experience in ghostwriting the life histories of others. A recent range was a series of fact books written for Steve Parish Publishing (www.steveparish.com.au/karin-cox), which comprehensively covered Australian social history, natural history, geography and wildlife conservation.
Karin's love of writing has also led to success in having numerous poems published and she has won several poetry competitions. She is also passionate about writing for children and young adults, and is currently working on completing a trilogy of novels for young adults (the first of which was highly commended in the UKAuthors and PABD "Great Read 2004" novel competition.
